Currency and Payments

All prices on this site are quoted in Euro and Payments are only accepted through PayPal. This method assures you of security and confidentiality. Using this system we have no access to your credit card information, we simply receive a notification that the amount has been debited. VAT is included in the Sale price quoted. Where goods are purchased outside the EU VAT @ 21.5% will be refunded.

Duties and local taxes:

Purchasers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes levied at the point of entry into the destination country. A commercial invoice is provided with all goods shipped.

Shipping/Carriage:

The final price quoted on the payments page is the price of the goods including delivery to the stated destination. These charges include carriage by An Post (Irish Postal Service) Standard Rate to both home and overseas destinations. Using this system, most European deliveries will be made within seven days, US and other areas within fourteen days.

Damage & loss in transit:

Sometimes, unfortunately, things do get lost or damaged in transit. If this happens with your shipment, please advise us and we will supply replacement goods as quickly as we can. However, since we never knowingly ship damaged goods we need your help to try to recover our costs from the carrier wherever possible. If you do receive damaged goods, please retain all relevant documentation so that an insurance claim can be made against the carrier's insurers. If you receive a battered parcel, note the fact on the delivery note, even before you open the package to examine the contents. If you are unable to open the damaged package in the presence of the carrier, make sure that you sign for it as 'Damaged package; goods not yet inspected' or similar to warn the carrier that a claim may be forthcoming. Whatever the circumstances, please contact us by email or telephone with as much detail of the damage or loss as you can provide, as soon after delivery as possible, so that we can arrange replacement goods and start following up the carriers. Please do NOT return damaged goods, unless and until requested to do so as this may incur additional costs unnecessarily.

Returns and refunds:

Goods which are returned under complaint or for exchange etc. should be returned to us post-paid. If the claim is agreed, we will refund monies paid for return transport. We appreciate that sometimes, purchases are made - perhaps as gifts - which prove later to be unsuitable. In these circumstances, we will happily arrange a credit or refund of the full purchase price paid for the goods, once we have examined the returned goods, but the cost of the shipping cannot be refunded in these circumstances. Goods which have been soiled through wear or use will not be accepted for return. Refunds will be made via PayPal.

Proof of posting when returning goods:

For your own protection, you are strongly advised to obtain a proof of posting, or shipping certificate from a courier, when returning goods whatever the reason for the return. Goods which are returned to us but are lost in shipping remain your responsibility. A proof of posting will assist you in tracking any shipment which is reported as lost, damaged, mislaid or otherwise undelivered/undeliverable.

Goods not available for shipment:

With the best will in the world, some goods may not be available at the time you place your order. In the event that we cannot fill your order, we will contact you to advise the actual situation and take instructions from you on how you would prefer us to proceed. In all cases our objective is to fulfil orders within fourteen days of our receipt of your order. In the event of requested goods being unavailable, we will not send you substitute or alternative goods (if such goods are available) unless we have contacted you and obtained your prior agreement for such action. A PayPal refund will be available on any goods ordered which we cannot provide.

Confidentiality:

We undertake to exercise all reasonable precautions to keep information supplied to us by customers strictly confidential. We do not supply our 'mailing information' to third parties but do use it to advise our clients of goods and services we feel may be of interest to them, unless expressly instructed otherwise in writing. Information supplied to us may be stored on a computer system for our convenience, but will not be supplied to any outside agency. We insist on the use of PayPal secure transaction services to make credit card transactions since this service is completely independent of our organisation and your credit card details are not divulged to us at any time.
