The new website and photoshoot arrived just in time for Showcase 2011! I’m still getting a few pieces ready for the annual craft trade show that runs from 23rd to 26th of January, at the RDS. You can find me in the Creative Island (Stand C73).
I will be showing Spring/Summer 2011 and Autumn/Winter 2011.
Spring/Summer is all about escape: soft peachy colours, new cotton/cashmere yarn mixes, candy stripes, innocent embroidery and cute buttons.
Autumn/Winter is more Gothic and dramatic. Based on my collection of second hand knitting books and my favourite 80’s knitwear designers. Lots of fairisle, lurex, mohair and ruffles. I will be selling dresses and vests as part of the collection for the first time. V excited!
January has been a busy month: I have a gorgeous new website courtesy of Artist-Makers Online, and a beautiful new photoshoot photographed by the brilliant Al Higgins, and styled by the wonderful Ruth Griffin.
I choose my family home on shores of Galway Bay for the location. I love the resulting contrast of vivid colour against soft moss and seaweed and winter light. I’ve included just a selection of the images on the site here.

I was delighted to see my navy empire wrap with gold feather-embroidery featured in The Sunday Business Post’s ‘Desirables / Acquirables’ section last weekend, it’s lovely to be included.
There’s a larger picture of the wrap in my Autumn / Winter 2010 gallery. Complain if your nearest stockist doesn’t have it 🙂 But as luck would have it, it’s available to buy online too (Christmas is coming after-all!).
Last weekend one of my cardigans was included in a ‘shoot for The Knitting and Stitching Fare in the RDS.
I was very pleased to see my cardi matched with a fabulous hat by Philip Treacy (click image to enlarge).
I’m sure it means just as much to him 😉
Check my stockists for availability or you can buy online!
Jewellery designer Victoria Foutz is looking fabulous in my winter leopard wrap. You can see more of my ‘Autumn / Winter 2010’ collection online at this link.
