My inspiration for Autumn/Winter 2014 is ‘The Glitter and the Gloaming’.
This collection was inspired by my home in the west of Ireland, Medieval castles, stone walls covered in green lichen, rich textiles, woven with gold and bronze and the Medici palaces of Florence.
Colour is richer this season; plums, charcoals, midnight blues, shades of grey, shot through with metallics. Textures are layered and aged. Relaxed shapes; luxurious coats, wraps and hoods that are striking and protect against the elements.
